Our Wheatley school is in a friendly village just outside Oxford. It is a calm and welcoming place for students, with green spaces and a strong community feel. This makes it a good place to focus on your studies while still being close to the city. The village has shops, cafés, pubs and other essential services within walking distance. The 400 bus line connects Wheatley directly to Oxford, so it is easy to travel into the city for classes, sightseeing or shopping.
The school offers modern classrooms and a relaxed, supportive learning environment. Whether you are in lessons, taking part in activities or spending time with friends, Wheatley gives you a comfortable and convenient place to study and enjoy life in the UK.
Our Wheatley school has 10 small classrooms, giving each student plenty of space to learn. Classes are usually very small, with an average of 6 students and a maximum of 9. This means you get more attention from your teacher and plenty of chance to practise your English. We also have a self-access learning centre, where you can study on your own using guided e-learning, online activities, or our large DVD library.
The school offers a range of facilities to make your time comfortable and enjoyable. You can use the computer room with 10 laptops, free Wi-Fi, and printing facilities for your studies. There is a fully equipped student kitchen and common room with games, and outside, a beautiful English garden where you can relax, play garden games, or enjoy summer barbecues. Our staff provide advice and support, and we also have a 24-hour emergency telephone for any problems, so you always feel safe and looked after.
